He has won numerous prizes, including FAD Awards in 1987, 1990 and 1991.

Awarded a doctorate in Architecture by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, where he is currently Professor of Projects, his outstanding architectural works include the Hotel Plaza in Barcelona, the Science and Cosmos Museum in the Canary Islands and the extension to the Picasso Museum in Barcelona.
