The complex, that later will be transformed into an innovating residential set, includes 4,200 m2 organized in two blocks from a central patio of 500 m2, a place of interchange of routes and impressions or, as it defines the author of the intervention, architect Quim Larrea, "a public space, a synthesis in miniature of the florentine squares interpreted by a Japanese gardener".
The layout of the patio was articulated by means of a wood footbridge of ipe that was threading different microsquares. These come delimited by walls from Eneus marble placed by gravity, without mortar, that acted like perspective composers. To both sides gravel bands in white (marble) and black (volcanic) they conformed a carpet on which the footbridge settled.
The microseats were conceived as transits of rest and conversation to recover of the visual impacts that the visitor received in the exhibition. In these spaces played a basic role the innovative pieces of urban furniture made in high-quality marble and limestones of Macaedis.
FEMINA and BOTANICA planters, STO and T benches, LITA beacons, and
the ALTA fountains were integrated in a natural form in the set, creating
small spaces of a intemporal and organic beauty.
